SONG 1

‘Hear her cry’ – This song is written, composed and sung by Sashi Preetam.

This is a song dedicated to girl child especially the orphaned and destitute children who are exploited on the streets by savages. The song expresses the pain and misery of such children who need someone to share and care.

Yesterday night I have been walking in the streets
Under the lights I could see a lonely girl
I could see her shivering in cold
There was no one that she could hold
Trembling with fear, her eyes were full of tears

No brother no sister, no one ought there to share
No mother no father no one seems to be there
No friend or no guardian who could be there to care,
Only wolves of the dark with lust seem to stare

She’s been all alone
Fighting all along
Is there someone who could hear her cry?
Is there someone who could hear her cry?
Is there someone who could hear her cry?
Is there someone who could hear her cry?

SONG 2

MAN & THE WOMAN by Sashi Preetam

This song is dedicated to all those lives that were sacrificed to the burning lust of some men. Many lives which fought in vain could not even see the light of the day. The song aims to awaken the REAL MAN to rebuild this world for  MAN & THE WOMAN

Before he was a man, he was a woman
Did testosterone make him so inhuman?
How could he turn so brutal?
To the one who bore him in the womb?

Before he was a man, he was a woman
Look at the hearts pouring out, tears of the darkness
So many lives burning there, silently in the shadows

Why did he loose his just for lust?
Cause it takes eons to build the trust.

Should we call such men as men?
Should we not dump them in the barren?
What takes so long to take a call?
Can’t we all stand up for the cause?

So do what makes you a real man
A man who is a friend of woman
Wake up man and build this world
Build this world for both of us
The man and the woman
